About Stephen Milburn

Stephen has doctoral level training in sexuality and couples work. He is passionate about assisting others in finding their true potential and passion for life and their overall pursuit of well-being. His primary treatment style is the Client-centered Approach. He also utilizes aspects of Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical (DBT) and Existential Theories in treatment with clients. Stephen is also a member of the African American Chamber of Commerce of Pennsylvania.

Stephen has over 30 years of professional experience in the following areas: Social Worker, Drug and Alcohol Therapist, Residential Mental Health Counselor, Youth at Risk Employee, Children Who Were Medically and Mentally-Compromised, Vocational Program Specialist With the Severely Mentally Ill, Behavioral and Mobile Therapy to Children and Families in Home and School, Residential Coordinator to Mental Health Consumers, Case Manager, Clinical Coordinator of Substance Abuse Programming and Mental Health at the Community Based and Inpatient Levels, Adjunct Faculty, and Self-Employed Psychotherapist.
